So I went to the Gurdwara yesterday and made the stupidest mistake. It was my first time going by myself and my first time going in a long time and I walked in and sat on the womans side for about 3-5 minutes until I realized I was sitting on the wrong side. Was very embarrassing.

I know the rules well. But once I barged in with uncovered head (in a Hindu temple it does not matter much). Then, my neighbor, for whose daughter's marriage we had gone, brought me the head-covering. I made a gesture to the sangat to be excused. Embarrassed, yes. But I am sure, excused.
