This isn't a how are they different post, but a debate on which one makes more sense, has a stronger foundation, better teachings etc, I'm learning about these two faiths but so far I'm not sure which one makes more sense. Sadly I am the type of person that if I don't find out then I will be having issues sleeping at night while I sit there thinking about each one...

Don't lose any sleep over it. The practitioner that is following their religion with more love and peace in their heart is the one practicing the more sensible one.

I have a problem lol.
I am willing to hear more about your problem and humbly offer my suggestions.

As for these two religions the best I can give you is the old mountain analogy. Each religion starts with people at different places at the foot of the mountain and they are given a path to reach the summit. So the paths may sound different at the beginning but in the end they reach the same summit and shake hands. Both of these paths are towards the same summit, so pick the one that appeals more to your heart and inclinations and start climbing.

both make perfect sence , even within Hinduism alone there are differences , between Sikhs there are differeces , ..... between those who know god to be truth there are no differences , ....
the sense is made by our own effort , our trust and our surrender , ..personaly I dont think it matters which you follow , it is the sincerity with which you follow it that realy matters ...

to me there is beauty and value in both , ....

May I suggest that you could glance at some of the basic concepts and practices of both religions and decide how you feel about them?

Whichever one resonates best with you is probably right I would think. The fundamental basis of all Upanishadic thought is that all things are one thing expressed many things. If this vein of thought is true, then what you perceive to be you is simply an aperture through which the one thing views and experiences itself. In which case, whatever helps you to experience it best is unique to the perspective you bring to the whole. It would be for you to decide, which may be a matter of listening to yourself, because if anything in metaphysics is true, then yourself is the Self and you should listen to it.

Just an idea. Nothing I ever say is offered as truth. Just a way of looking at it.

PS: It is difficult to put on a pug every morning. Not trying to influence you or anything...:)
