Alright. Here's the thing. For this simulation, God or whatever caused things has ended the current universe. It was fun, but ultimately things ended. Maybe the Big Crunch. Maybe someone divided by zero. Maybe God wasn't happy anymore, and wanted someone else to do it, or retired.
In any case, somehow you got a piece of paper. A blank schematic, if you will. Now, this universe can exist in any way you want (atheist, Muslim, etc, even your custom design), but the point is, whether it exists because of scientific laws or magic or whatever, there are some guidelines.

In any case, somehow you got a piece of paper. A blank schematic, if you will. Now, this universe can exist in any way you want (atheist, Muslim, etc, even your custom design), but the point is, whether it exists because of scientific laws or magic or whatever, there are some guidelines.
The Rules
- If you quit before creating anything, nothing will exist. That means all of your friends, your pet kitten, your significant other, all gone. You quit, you can't bring them back. You don't play at all, all gets wiped.
- Let's see... ummm. You may go to sleep after the first part and let natural laws do the rest (deism is fine). You can also outsource creation to natural laws, or subdivide among your ten best friends (polytheism!). Or go the animism route and just make the entire universe divine. But if things exist, you gotta figure out how stuff works.
- You may make the entire universe illusory. You may also make it real but very sucky (think the Truman Show).
- No paradoxes. For example: if you do an evolution route, there must be first bacteria, and it must come about somehow (no uncreated creations). Likewise, no creator of creator of creator infinite regress crap. You can, however do time tricks, creating a time loop to make yourself eternal.
- As some human given the plan to create the universe, you are one person (nix on the omnipresent thing), you like or hate who you like or hate normally (not all-good), you can't see the future or read minds (not omniscient), and you are limited to a few key abilities based on the tools you have (not omnipotent). You are probably immortal though, since Sim games typically don't include the option of killing the player.
- Besides the blank schematic (allows a basic plan for the entire universe, once drawn it cannot be erased or revised without destroying everything and everyone) you may have up to six other tools. These are your powers, and the more you have, the more your remaining remaining power is divided. If they're stolen, you lose any powers stolen, but the new owner cannot use them. I chose a viewing globe (views only the present but can see all events), universal tablet (can view prayers and type simple miracles in and Press Enter with no multitask option), a disguise kit (can take any non-divine humanoid/plant/animal form), and a portal (you can enter reality/leave reality either through dreams or in person).
- You cannot interfere with free will, or force people to worship you (assuming you actually even wanted that). You can however set up coincidences so that people tend towards certain actions (such as matchmaking), provided they have a viable "no" option (say, getting on a boat to another country). Because of this, you can't reveal who you are directly, and any miracles you do have to have deniability.
- You have to deal with the problems of overcrowding and/or evil. Preferably not using each other but whatever.
- You can't stop or alter time for anyone but yourself. As in, you can travel through time but only as a tourist, and other people don't notice you or get affected.
- A personal rule: No tampering with other created universes. It's not a debate thread, and your schematics only apply to your universe.
