Beautiful simulation, I believe the blue is hot hydrogen and the later reds yellows and oranges are the heavier elements formed in the supernovae in the mid sequence.

It appears to be spinning at a constant rate, I would have expected its rotation to have slowed over time due to conservation of angular momentum law as the universes radius expands.

I'm going to laugh my *** off if we find out in the afterlife that these models & theories are all wrong.

embarrassing

Lets all wait and do nothing, because death has so much to offer. :ignore:
If you're fascinated by science, kudos. I'm not. Like I said, it would be funny if it wasn't true... especially in light of how dogmatic certain atheists & materialists are when it comes to science.

And I am going to laugh my *** off when I find out that the theory of an afterlife is all wrong.

Mmmh, maybe not. Unfair.

I understand it. Fascinated, not hardly.

kudos. I'm not.

Avoid it, is what I think your forced to do since you want to follow the supernatural, instead of credible explanations of reality.

This is ignorance and a misunderstanding of what science is, and does.

Science observes and reports based on facts it finds while observing.

You live with it everyday, it is the only reason your alive right now, and before you get hypocritical, your typing on a computer developed and created by science, you take medicine developed by science. You accept it more then you will ever know.

The only things that I consider necessary in life are moral excellence and fondness of God.

Science is merely knowledge and isn't necessary to achieve utopia. We don't need science to experience the greatest possible quality of life. You only feel that we do because we currently live in a technologically dependent world.

'Kay Gehennaite. Since you have no use for science, obviously you don't have a smart phone, or a computer, or a hundred thousand other things that are available to the average person because of science. And if a doctor used a technology that exists only because of the science behind it, you would refuse the doctor's advice as his analysis is based on this useless science stuff. You wouldn't get a pacemaker if you had a heart condition. You won't accept a life saving treatment for your child because it was invented by science. You wouldn't accept a hip replacement. You don't have a television because that technology is based on satellites in orbit sending you the signal.

"All that is necessary in life are moral excellence and fondness of God", your words. "We don't need science to experience the greatest possible quality of life." Also your direct words.

In reality, of course, I expect you would use and do indeed take advantage of all the wondrous technologies that are only possible because of science. Making use of all this and condemning it at the same time seems kinda hypocritical don't you think?

Ship me to any time period in BCE and I'll do just fine, in fact I will probably be even happier.

You seem to fail to understand that technology has completely redesigned our infrastructure. We're now dependent on it. Long gone are the days of living off the land and working communally and societally to produce impressive cultures.

And it is quite obviously debatable whether or not technological advancement has truly improved our quality of life. More leisure =/= better life. I'm thankful for the internet, the computer, indoor heating, plumbing, and refrigeration, but if I was never raised in such environments do you really think I would feel at enmity with myself? That is biased thinking. Billions have come and gone just fine without it.

Interestingly enough, I live quite primitively compared to the average, modernized individual. I don't own a phone, cable, TV, vehicles, air conditioning, never needed Heathcare (never will), etc.. I wouldn't be surprised if people in "third world" countries are more technologically savvy than me.

Its beautiful and makes a lot more sense than how religion or most of religion believe the universe came into existence.

This is a visual simulation of how science currently believes the universe evolved. I put it here as I believe people of all faiths will find it beautiful, whether their beliefs accept this as valid or not. Certainly creationists will have comments to make about the viability of the model methinks.

All I see is an artist's impression of what a scientist told him, just like the artist's impression of a double helix that is supposed to represent DNA

The problem with the 'Judgement Hall of the great senile one' is that Satan and the demons would be there too; the last time Satan was there with his demons there was a celestial civil war.
Sounds like a great riot to join in...?
Might cause another big bang?

I'd be grabbing one of the candlesticks and swinging it - look out for me?

As for the video;
Beautiful model, some inspiring dramatic music would help.
