Sadly not at the moment. The problem is on the list, so it hopefully gets fixed. In the meanwhile I suggest zooming out the page a little.Peace be on all.
Is there any option, one make this Box disappear because it is shrinking the material to be read on the left side ( which has shrunk and look like a thick column.)
Thanks
Don't know how it works on phones, but the logout link is found in the user menu when you hover your username. It's above the status text field. Also, while there's a way to log in to the forum site, there's no corresponding logout button.

I'm assuming you are using Internet Explorer, since that's the browser Willamena had trouble with as well. RF has moved over to using secure connections to provide better protection for passwords and the like. The protocol is known as HTTPS, and you can see when you're using it by looking at the address. If it starts with http://, you're unsecured, but https:// means you are in secure mode. You can try to use the site as simple HTTP by changing the address, but at least for me it simply returned to HTTPS right away.I'm having a frustrating problem that may or may not have anything to do with RF. But it started almost immediately after the Big Switch and I don't have it with any other website.
Occasionally, at random, when I click on something I get a box that says "Cannot establish a secure connection". Sometimes it lasts for a half hour, sometimes for several hours. The first time it happened the tech guy here at the library helped me, and I thought it was done. But it keeps returning(it is happening right now, I'm on the library computer). What the tech guy did was look up RF on his computer, and show me that I had a www. in front of religiou.... He deleted it and the box vanished. When it came back I tried it myself, but it didn't work. Now that isn't even there, but I'm still having the intermittent lack of my RF fix and I've gotten very attached to it
It may just be my phone, but the circumstances were odd. I've never seen this box before ever and the timing, right after the software change.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Tom
There's a super tiny link right at the bottom of the page, in the right corner saying "Terms and Rules". Right now there's not much there, though: Terms of Service and Rules | Religion ForumsWhere's a link to the forum rules?

The library guy on duty now isn't as good as Tyler. He suggested that I try using Chrome, as even he couldn't find a security options thingy on my phone. So I'm going to try that (grumble grumble newfangled nonsense...)I'm assuming you are using Internet Explorer, since that's the browser Willamena had trouble with as well. What the server probably is complaining about is that the site is trying to load insecure content (non-HTTPS addressed content) on a secure page. This is in fact a valid security threat, and the browser has all rights to warn you about it. What you can do is change the security settings in the browser to allow for this sort of "dangerous" content and not warn you about it anymore. Here's the process explained for Internet Explorer: Disable IE Security Warning - Blackboard Documentation
And yes, this means there won't be any warnings on other Internet pages where the risk of a security breach is higher. Changing the alarm sensitivity should be a temporary solution to make the forum usable until the problem is fixed.
