Its going to be irritating for a bit. A large portion of RFs internet traffic is from the US so the election is going to be a dominant topic till its over in November. (The site below puts it at about 38% of traffic is from the US.)

Religion and politics have been almost synonymous here in the US. The Religious White, the Silent Majority and so on have both religious and political ties that blur those lines that are supposed to separate church and state. The hook is so deep in the GOP that Trump has had to affect a religious side that the easily duped are actually buying.

I'll be honest with you. I originally joined RF because it was the best social oriented forums I could find. I joined to make friends of different back grounds and beliefs, improve my English and frankly to fool around and have fun. All of a sudden I found myself talk religion and I even became a moderator for some time. Me? A moderator? What has this world come to?
