So what do you think of Ted Cruz?

Yeah, and I got something like 54% with the Democrats and 10% with the Socialist Party but that doesn't make me a progressive or a socialist. It just seems like the people in this thread want to pretend to be conservatives to bash Ted Cruz, when I wanted to talk to other conservatives only.

Or, conservatives like me see him as a piece of crap. You know, a nut who shouldn't be allowed to own a cat? Just because someone is disagreeing with you doesn't mean you get to redefine their political philosophy.

I understand the rules, and I apologize that I did not notice that this was a conservatives only page. But, just out of curiosity, why would you only want to talk to one specific group about anything? Isn't it always better to get a more balanced conversation going?

At this point, I don't even want to talk about it at all. Why would I want to put it in the general areas when I know damn well what their opinions would be? But to hell with it. Bash and troll away. I don't give a **** anymore.

I was just wondering. I always ask myself this question when I see private threads like this. But, that is fair enough. I can understand your frustration.

You do realize that a vote for Ted Cruz is a vote against LGBT rights, right?
Depends on the perspective. As long as they don't try to make gay sex illegal or make it illegal or harder for transsexuals to change our sex, I'm not too phased. I have more important issues on my mind than mere identity politics.

We will have had eight years of liberalism in the White House, which has hardly been offset by Republicans in Congress, so many of whom are consistently ready and willing to sell out to the left. So the “Change-You-Can-Believe- In” has had its way since day one of Obama’s first term, and surely will remain in effect, at least until the end of his second term. That’s all good for those in favor of progressive agendas, but not so good for anyone preferring a healthy economy, national sovereignty, an honest government, or a secure future in any sense.

So a conservative like Ted Cruz, an intelligent man with moral values and obvious leadership qualities would be the “Hope and Change” of our time. The United States needs a leader who is nothing that Obama is and everything he is not.

Remember that only those who are associated with the Conservative Party are supposed to post in the Conservative DIR.
