So what is the "end game" of buddhism

what is the ultimate point of Buddhism? Is the goal just to live this life as pain free and as peaceful as possible? Does it fit into a more grand scheme or is that about it.

Also it could be said that Buddhism isn't so much a religion with a mythology. It's a psychology, therapy, medicine, and especially education system.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
As I see it, Buddhism is a raft in the water. No permanent "end game" save for the moment one finds it necessary to stop rowing and then starts walking. Then Buddhism is feet on the ground. No "end game" until one finds it necessary to stop walking....... That is what the end game is all about. -NM-
