I don't know. Nick is nice and short. Nicholas has too many syllables. I just don't like the sound of it.beckysoup61 said:Why not?

But I prefer Cerrax. Or Destroyer C. (anyone who's been to my website knows what I mean)

I guessed that Chris' might have been Chris, but im glad that is cleared up.
then again he's another KIWI, so he might have just been known as either "bro" or "cuz". Both names result in the same response.

My name is a very sore point with me. I was brought up in French speaking Africa, and Baptized "Michel Jean Georges"; that was what my parents called me in Africa and in Belgium. In England, I was made to be "Michael John George" by my parents, and then by my wife who became fed up with explaining to the dumb English of the 1970's that Michel was not a girls's name.
I think a name is so important; it is who we are. James (my son) wants to change his, and I am fine with that.what I am not fine with was the way my name was out of sheer convenience for whatever country I was in at the time; so Michel it is, to my Friends.
I hope you guys don't mind, but I would much rather use your names when posting; for some reason, it feels 'wrong' using your user names.................I guess that's just me though.
