I have no idea how our discussions are making others think, nor do you. There are over 7,200 views of the other LDS Belief and Bible thread... Can you speak for each person who have read our discussions, and how it may have opened up their spiritual understanding?...Heck, maybe people are reading these LDS and Historical Christian Faith threads for entertainment?

7,200 views. That's quite a few. So for those who have not necessarily contributed to the threads between Fish-Hunter and the Latter-day Saints, what is it about threads between Evangelicals and Latter-day Saints that would make you have any interest at all in reading them? Have these discussions made you think? Have they opened up your spiritual understanding? Have they entertained you? Fish-Hunter has his opinion as to why so many of you are reading what we have to say, and so do I. So tell us, please... What do you get out of these Evangelical/LDS threads?

Ticked off mostly. Personally, the reason I tune into a thread that I may not participate in is to just see how offensive and ignorant someone can be. I read, sit and shake my head, want to say something, click to post, then realize that if they aren't listening to the people that would know the most of a particular religion, that they are completely going to ignore me anyway and that posting would be useless. I have, from time to time, popped in and said something anyway on a thread such as what you are speaking of...only to be either ignored or dismissed as a "non-christian" that doesn't know what they are talking about anyway.

Sorry to admit... I like em..... when Catholics on other "less inclusive" boards seem to be a bit .... ummmm... "liberal" in their view of Evangelicals, I give them links to threads like this and they quickly scramble back to orthodoxy. Seriously. Some of my Catholic friends don't believe Evangelicals like fish and big d actually exist... I've been accused of being "uncharitable" in my attitude towards them.... so, I give them a link ... and quickly get an apology.

Maybe when my shoulder heals I'll get a real hobby. :p

Let's go racing boys !
I'll tell you what I get out of it: told me I was wrong for calling the LDS my Christian Brothers and sisters. Had my faith questioned because I took up for the LDS. Told me that a scripture I gave was not in the Bible (Proved him wrong by showing it to him) Kept telling me I needed to talk to my pastor or someone who could set me straight about defending the LDS. I could go on and on....but to what avail....

My prayer is please God no more people pick on the LDS for a while, I'm tired. I just want us to live in peace.........did I say us, I've fought so hard in defending you the last few days that I must be an honorary member. Do I get a badge that says Honorary LDS? (she smiles and flys into the sunset) :super:

Blessings Katzpur, I love you and all the others.:foryou:

I'm only new here but I go from thread to thread, I am a Muslim, but I am genuinely interested in learning, and I don't believe there is a limit on one increasing there knowledge.
