Some Americans are furious over losing their terrible insurance

It's even worse than you think, Spinks! Not only are millions and millions of Americans losing their insurance because of Obamacare, but I have it on equally good authority that Obama himself was born in Kenya! Land sakes! I just don't know what's happening to this country.

Hes not even an American..and hes "black."

So we get healthcare and the rest of the world gets even more human rights violations. Is that acceptable to you?

If we stop being the world police who will step up?

See 9-10th Penguin's post....

We have our own human rights violations and people to to help...and NO...We definitely need to stop "trying" to be the world's police. The overwhelming majority of Americans agree on this.

We aren't the world's police. Everything we do in the other parts of the world is to further a goal of someone back here. It can be politically motivated or its simply buisness motivated. We aren't doing anything out of the kindness of our hearts.

The last time we really tried to do that was to fight communism and we failed terribly.

There is no overwhelming need to have a world police. At least there is no need that America is currently filling.

The US is the world police? Since when? From my vantage point, it seems like the US has been responsible for more human rights violations than it's prevented.

I'm inclined to agree, especially in more recent times at least.

Thinking you're #1 and "doing the world a favour" by expanding your military on an international scale doesn't help the situation either.

The UK has the same problem of self-delusional Foreign Policy too, so it's not just the US in fairness.
