Oh pullleeeeleeezze !!!!!!

I’m old enough to be their grandmother and they all have Yank accents.....get real Revolt.....seriously....o_O
BTW I hate the word “like”....

Try this....:)

I've mastered some properly accented Aussie phrases.....
"A dingo ate my baby!"
"That's not a knife. This is a knife."
"Krikey!"
"Put another shrimp on the barbie."

None of them are in the Aussie vernacular I'm afraid.....That's Hollywood Aussie....

We don't call them shrimp BTW...we call 'em prawns. (pronounced 'prorns')

No, "krikey" is real.
I heard a real Australiastanian say it as an exclamation of surprise.
(He occasionally comes here to attend an engine show where I volunteer.)

Btw, a dingo really did steal her baby.

Well, I suppose you are more likely to hear the odd "krikey" than any of the others, especially in the regionals, but we are a big country and there are expressions common to certain areas......especially in pubs. :D

Btw, a dingo really did steal her baby.

That incident divided our country....a dingo really did take her baby but there was so much more to that story. There was a human who covered up for that dingo...could have been a pet.
Dingoes have since tried to steal other babies. They are wild dogs...predators....its all fresh meat to them. Camping in dingo country is a little stupid actually, especially if you have littl'uns.

Revoltistan has banned dingoes.
Alas, we have a worst infestation here....lawyers.
More dangerous, & not at all cute....even as pups.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
No matter who you are -
No matter where you're from -
No matter what you believe -

Whether you're a Arab, Australian, Brittish, Canadian, Hick, etc.

You all sound exactly like me. Its astounding. Your accents. Your voices. Everything.

Stop it, please.
Thanks.

It's creepy. Whenever I put text to speech, you sound like the ghost of Stephen Hawkings!!

We have those too...perhaps we need to feed them to the dingoes?

They are like wolves...they hunt in packs.....the dingoes not the lawyers....but on second thought.....

I can't stop laughing at this thread. Because I have been thinking for awhile about the idea of becoming a lawyer some day.

A new word just came to me after seeing what you write here:

Spiralocution should be added to the RF dictionary

If you do, be a good one.
As a lawyer friend once told me.
"It's the 99 out of 100 bad ones who give the profession its black eye."

I always thought pelicans were good mannered, proper even!

Whatever gave you that idea? Despite their regal appearance.....it is soon dispelled.....

The pelicans show you how proper and well mannered they are as soon as food is offered.....(about 3 mins in.....) :D
