I haven't really listened to new Marilyn Manson, sounds pretty good. I've listened to Anti-Christ Superstar album plenty of times back in the day.
Where was god
When I needed a friend
Where was god
When I came to an end
Where was god
When I lost my mind
Where was god
When I couldn't find
Don't want to be up or down
Where was love
When I felt like hate
Where was hate
When I felt like love
Where were you
When you said you'd be there
Where was the fear
When I said I was scared
Tell me what you believe
I'll tell you
What you should see
'Cause I don't know
Who to trust
My heart is filled with disgust
I can't take this
Ladies and gentlemen
May I have your attention
Are you ready for the joke
Are you ready for the
Great deception
Love that song, and I am also glade I lost my religion !.
Good on you and thanks for having the guts to admit that.Love that song, and I am also glade I lost my religion !.
You reminded me of this classic from Ozzy.REM "losing my religion" along with REM "it's the end of the world" are an awesome combination for me. Along with audio slave and ColdPlay's "clocks." One that i dont think gets enough creed in this genre is Leonard Cohen's hallelujah. Its always been covered more as a religious song but if you actually listen to his version closely, it's strongly bashing religiosity in all forms in how he sings it. Its extremely subtle in prosody. Oh and I love Eddie Vedder cover of hard sun. A big fat **** you to religion of the institution university and anyone who isn't about nature.
ha. awesome although I think ozzy is the conductorYou reminded me of this classic from Ozzy.
