There’s more to it than just humor. On my part it is personal experience. When I (thought I) was closeted and was a rabid self-loathing internalized homophobe I’d regularly and with ninja-like stealth go into adult bookstores, put my tokens into the videos in the booths and, well... I had some fantasy inspiration for later. I also bought magazines for later use. But every time I did this I tore them up and swore I’m not gay. I cried myself to sleep at night wishing there was a man next to me to cuddle with (and then some ). But how could this be!? I’m not gay! I even did the “so, how’bout them Giants?” with my male friends. I don’t know a football from a bowling ball.

Southern Baptist leader shave been found to have molested over 700 victims by over 200 clergymen , who knows that could be a lot higher, this is just whom of the adults came forward so far.
