By external existence I think it means a body, the body which is limited by the laws of the realm that it is in.

In this life, this universe, our human body is that external existence. If our soul didn't have this body, our life experience would differ from this current life. As it was mentioned, the soul expands, it is not bound by the laws of physics and therefore our earthly existence would be very different.

It would basically be like air, it is spread out, but just that it has a consciousness. So in order to separate if from the other existing laws, it has been confined into a material body.

The soul on it's own is alive, it has consciousness and depending on what laws and in which realm it cannot break them, it has a form. On earth if it didn't reside in the human body, it would be still the same as we are now, it just that it probably wouldn't have a shape/form due to it's expanding nature.

Once we die, unlike in Hindu belief, the soul is conscious and remembers everything. 'We', literally, are the soul and not the body. The body is just used by 'us' (the soul) and once the soul departs, the body becomes nothing.

This is actually exactly what Hindus believe.

Thank you for the explanations :)

But the hindus believe that the soul reincarnated and that is irrational which means
that there is only a fixed number of souls that will reincarnated and for eternity,
so if the world at one time were one million, then the same souls are still reincarnated,
the question is where the new souls came from,if only the same souls will always reincarnated for an eternity.

Another question did the soul choose where to go after getting the experience, like to
be a son or a daughter of a king, instead of a cat or an orange tree.

Do you have a convincing replies to my questions according to hindusim.

Hi trruth, there are explanations but it is not my right to answer in the Islam DIR. If you wish for an explanation, please create a thread in the debate area.

I also ask as a personal favour, if you want Hindus to explain please come with an open mind. It is very difficult to have a conversation with people who argue from a standpoint that they are right and everyone else is wrong. I only say this because I am seeing many people having pointless debates, not you specifically.

Thank you Madhuri,i will do discuss it in the hindus dir and i won't have a hard time to
accept something which i found to be logical.

Brother you should not take Islamic matters easy and comment them based on your own interpretation. This is the Islamic DIR and if your view doesn't reflect that of Islam because you don't know the Islamic view then it is not right to post things which are not based on Islamic ruling and knowledge.

If what you say is false and then others accept your view, then you are responsible for their false beliefs and knowledge.

If you don't know something just say you don't know. It's better for you.

Chill down, i said that i was speaking on my behalf and i clearly stated that i was putting my understanding out there. I have read the things you said but i cannot see them contradict with what i said..

Brother I didn't say that what you have posted is wrong, but saying that your statement reflects only your personal views implies that you don't know the correct Islamic view but instead your own understanding/interpretation.

I know much more about this topic than what I have posted, but it has been a while since I have read on this topic and over time people forget and mix truth with falsehood, so due to my doubts of whether what I know are the correct Islamic teachings I do not post that knowledge. Instead I looked up old articles that I have read and posted them.

Sorry if my post came off rude, but the words which we say are our responsibility and if every Muslim member posted their own personal views based on their own understanding then we would all contradict each other.

O ok.

Thanks for clarifying.
