Actually you started to derail it at post #16 with the idea of mris capturing images of the mind. Again the spirit, or will of a person can't be captured in an mri. If it could, you could literally read their mind and tell them exactly what they are thinking. Mris create an image of the body. They don't read minds or make images of thoughts

Morality should be followed with friends as well as enemies (Geneva convention). However, one cannot be compassionate with enemies who may be trying to harm you. For that, one has to take some hard steps. It does not mean that one will be sour, angry, sullen, unforgiving to all people. Actually in war, one should do whatever is necessary without without emotions. Emotions weaken one and cloud the mind so that one cannot act appropriately.

I was actually speaking of the Higher Self which is bereft of any flaws.
