Satshriakal jiSat Sri Akaal friends,
Guru Aurjan dev (Adh Granth)Who exactly wrote SGGS,
Like.. the motive behind creating any drug store is to provide the medicine to the patients. Similarly.. the motive behind creating "GGS" was to provide the medicine to the patients who will be affected by "Disease of Love" in future.and what was the motive behind writing this Granth,
Firstly, there is need to undersatand some conditions which one need to understand before knowing the benifit which one can attain by reading respected shri guru granth sahib (Drug store, or any drug store)and what all are the benefits one can attain by reading SGGS?
As already being given above that patient itself doesn't knows which medicine is suitable, thus.. its important to take the opinion/help of Doctor(Living-Guru), before taking any medicine, In all the ways one patient should consider doctor as more important than a drug store, IMOAnd is it necessary that all sikhs should read SGGS?
If by chance the correct medicine came in the hands of a patient, than it can give benifit.chinu ji,
So one should not touch the SGGS without the instruction from a living guru? else it will cause harm to the readers because it will not be suitable for the reader?

so generally would you recommend common people to read SGGS?If by chance the correct medicine came in the hands of a patient, than it can give benifit.
Until one is not interested in following living-guru, i recommend common people to read that holy text whichever they find easy in language and expressions to understand proplerly.so generally would you recommend common people to read SGGS?
Inspires one to search a living-guru, that's the benifit.chinu ji,
Leaving aside the example of 'drug store', could you please explain in plain simple words how someone is benefited by reading a scripture? what changes it brings in him?
