Star Wars, sci-fi vs spiritual?

Lightsaber vs the force..

For the ones who likes Star Wars, are you more interrested in the Sci Fi part of the story or the "Force" part?

Do you only know the 6 films or more of the story?

Personally I am totally for the Force part and did read the comics, books and other stories. I heard from people who went for the sci-fi part that they were only interrested in the films. I am curious if that is a pattern

I was always fascinated by both the force and light sabers.

Regarding the force: i honesty do believe there is a real world equivalent. We all possess untapped natural gifts... well, most of us actually. There are those who have learned how to utilize these gifts already.

Regarding the light saber: at this point in time it truly does seem like something that is pure science fiction, but i could imagine practical potential for such a technology. We already have lasers. It may be possible, theoretically, to manipulate this technology into laser swords. Only time will tell.
