Why do you think it is offensive to refer to Anton Szandor LaVey as 'LaVey'? Even if I respected him, I don't see why it's necessary. There's nothing disprespectful about refering to a person using just their last name. It's common practice. I mean, I have respect for Churchill, but I don't go around refering to him as Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill KG OM CH PC FRS all the time. ) And I thought knowing his full name would never come in handy!)
And you shouldn't take a simple spelling mistake to such offense. If you're going to get all upset over that, then maybe you should learn how to properly punctuate a sentence, or maybe at least take advantage of spellcheck. I'm sure, Kreeden, Supreme Being of the Universe and All Around Nice Guy, didn't mean any offense. (Sorry, I had to use it!)
