Studying Islam - books?

Argamemnon

tormented soul
Assalamu Alaykum,

I would like to study Islam from books in my own pace at home. Hopefully, when I have more knowedge, I will follow online courses too, and maybe getting a degree in the future inshallah. Do any of you know any good books on Islam?

Thanks in advance.

Well if you enjoy hearing then visit:

islamlecture .com, darulehsaan .com it has plethora of authentic material alhamduLillah

Secondly, for online courses chk out "albaseerah .org" And www . kiu . com . sa (remove spaces)

www .islamiconlineuniversity. com/moodle/mod/resource/view.php?inpopup=true&id=823 (remove spaces)

hopefully it be of benit to u inshAllah and remember one thing that Islamic knowledge wont do you much good until unless it be with a nice scholar whose first trait should be - sound knowledge & understanding of the Arabic language in addition to his sound Aqeedah which should be as of our noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) of the Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him).

all the very best Akhee and may Allah the most high bless you and accept your sincere intentions and make you of these inshAllah:

"Whomsoever Allaah wishes to show goodness, he gives him the fiqh (understanding) of the Religion." (Bukhari & Muslim)

Walaikum Assalaam Warehmatullahi Wabarakatuhu

Forgot to mention that one of the very first thing a knowledge seeker has to do is arabic language learning.
