Such a thread idea may fit the scope of this thread. However, I could still see someone creating a thread in poetry asking about words that don't rhyme easily, and solutions for it.

True. Good point.

I was imagining myself either as the poet, picking foreign words I didn't understand, which don't rhyme, typing them and calling it poetry... and I'm thinking "OK, ok, that's pretty stupid." Or. I'm imagining myself as the reader, looking these foreign words up in the dictionary, one by one, then smashing my brain trying to figure out the point of the poem, and I'm thinking, "Ok, ok, that's pretty stupid, too".

There used to be a steeplejack (and minor tv personality) called Fred Dibner (now dead) lived not so far from me when i was a kid. I mentally pronounce your screen name as i pronounced his surname but with an m in place of the n.

He was a very interesting guy once you broke the accent... Kind of sounds like an old, male version of me...

This is a over 15 minutes long but please listen to a minute or two just to get the hang of my accent ;-)
