A baby is pure. Then starts parenting...then start problems. IMO, the world would be much better, if parents take responsibility for their parenting. And stop blaming their child, if something goes wrong. I do remember in this context a wise man (Bible maybe, but not sure) who asked God "What did I do wrong, that my son became like this". That was a wise and responsible man, I immediately thought, when I read this. This would solve many problems we see nowadays between parents and children.

IF parenting was bad, you should blame the parents if their "product" turns out bad. Do not blame the child in such a case
Of course the child will be held responsible for his own actions afterwards. And he better figures it out, or he gets into trouble
Hence most parents decide "I will do it better than my parents did". But soon they find out, that perfect parenting is not so easy
Parenting can be a good opportunity to become humble, I think. But not all parents like to see it that way.
