Yes, my thoughts have been evolving in that direction. If nothing else, Pence is certainly more re-electable than Trump.

Which is why republicans might impeach. It may be in their best interest to remove him, blame him for everything wrong with the world, and claim victory in fixing it.

That maybe true but the person who has an impending even if they didn't get impeached, had a group who tried to impeach them will be in trouble. In other maybe its true some Dem might lose their jobs but I don't believe Trump will be in and hopfully not Pence.

Yep, actions have consequences, but why should those of us who refused to vote for the Groper-In-Chief have to suffer?

Promising impeachment proceedings certainly would not sell me on a candidate.
But it doesn't matter. Trump is super popular here. Even in the primaries he blew everyone else away.
All the political ads that mention him are utterly supportive.
