Summary of the History of RF

It looks at the moment that I am currently the longest standing member still active on RF. Unless @Jayhawker Soule or @Mr Spinkles comes back anytime soon, that might remain true for awhile. I miss both those guys, so I hope they come back.

@Sunstone, since you obviously have easy access to the oldest (*cough" *cough* longest-standing), still active members of the forum, would you mind posting the names of the "top ten." I have a hunch I may be one of them, but I'd like to see who else is.

@Green Gaia -- or Amy -- was the very first staff member that our founder and original owner @Rex hired to help him administer the Forum. It was a very wise choice on his part because Amy was to my recollection an exceptional person.

She combined such traits as fair-mindedness, high intelligence, rationality, and reasonableness with a dedicated work ethic, and a vision of the Forum as a friendly gathering place for people of all religious (as well as non-religious) views.

Something else about @Green Gaia... (Didn't she also go by Maize at one point?) I have to credit her and @Smoke (miss him, too ) for single-handedly turning me from someone who never felt any ill-will towards the LGBT community into a passionate advocate for them. For that I will be forever grateful.

Thanks for your contributions to this thread, @Sunstone, @Katzpur, and everyone else! It's been a while since I visited it.

Right now I feel like if I retired tomorrow, this thread would be my lasting legacy on the forum. It was my biggest-ever project as a staff member.

I can't say I was laughing the first time I heard about guys apparently having a thing for girls jumping on trampolines, but I definitely wondered what the hell.

Some advice....
I did a little linguistic analysis...looking at descriptors
that were positive or neutral. Some posters who had
only neutral words, while others had glowing ones.
I don't know what it means, but it seemed inconsistent.
