Sunglasses At Night

Sedim Haba

Outa here... bye-bye!
My theme song when it came out.

Hey, didn't his original music video have an all girl manikin band? Or am I thinking of a different song? Can't google it, too many bands named manikins.

I love this song. I once read somewhere that the song was originally supposed to depict a political dystopia in which a state actually forces its citizens to wear sunglasses at night, but Hart supposedly had to rewrite it for marketing reasons and turn it into a love song. The policewoman in the video is possibly a reference to the dystopia originally planned.
