The smart thing to do would be to politely back away from the whole fiasco. Then again, Obama isn't known for his brilliant foreign policy initiatives.
No,
Ahrar al sham is not alqeada
Fatah Al Sham is not alqeada
Jabhat Nusrah does not have ties with alqeada
Free syrian army is not alqeada
Turkmen resistance group is not alqeada
Assad is a polytheist? The shia't polytheistic army of Assad
Yup.
The best thing for the West to do would be to back away, let them kill one another and wait until the Muslims stop blaming everyone but themselves for this conflict. Seriously, we should stop involving ourselves in the Middle East altogether.
Islamic State formed by splintering from Al Qaeda and absorbing some of their forces. That's how I came to the conclusion that you supported Al Qaeda. But obviously I'm wrong. So you're fine with the mujahideen groups who commit atrocities that we don't hear anything about but not the ones (like Islamic State and Al Qaeda) who commit atrocities we do hear about.
I would definitely say they aren't polytheist. the latter...noWhich one is the polytheist army?

I believe Servant1 does not mean polytheist in the exact sense of having more than one god, he's having in mind the practices of some Shiaa in which they seem like they associate some humans' will with or over God's. Some Shiaa, for example, call for people's name, the way one would call for God's name when praying; e.g. asking for an after life/above-human direct forgiveness and guidance. In main stream Islam, this goes under the Islamic definition of polytheism.
LooooooooolAlqaeda and ISIS are sister , others are babies.
They switch names as we change clothes.
