For those of you who enjoy tattoo's, gimme some ideas! Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of my beloved dog's passing and I've finally narrowed down some ideas for a memorial tattoo. I have two others already, a "tramp stamp" representing myself, and a mother/daughter symbol on my inner left hip/tummy area.
*I want the main theme to be a paw print or prints.
*The areas I'd consider putting my next one are high on my upper/outer right thigh, inner wrist, back of neck, behind my ear, side rib cage, or possibly inner top of foot or ankle - though that seems to be my least favorite area unless something makes it call to me.
*I'm looking more on the smaller size for this next one, either elongated and thin or around an inch or two boxed.
*I prefer color over just black/grey - specifically orange because it's my favorite and my dog was my big, orange, fuzzy headed, wiggle butt.
The ideas I'm considering now are one single paw print (not a solid cartoony splotch, but one that looks like an ink print) so as far as incorporating color, what would you suggest? Another idea is the tiny walking prints effect, though that's more generic than what I typically like - so any interesting twists or addition ideas to that? Finally, I've drawn an xoxo with the "o" as paw prints, which so far I'm really into.
Any other suggestions? Location preferences for the ones I listed? I'm not impulsive with my tattoo's and usually draw them out myself so they're always more personal, and I love and do not regret the ones I have.
Get creative and have fun with this! I look forward to your ideas!!
