Tattoo

Thruve

Sheppard for the Die Hard
I've been contemplating a tattoo on my shoulder/upper breast for two years now. I've just been extremely picky with what I want. What I love, thanks to Warcraft, are shoulder plates. I have two wow characters with fabulous tmogs that my bf a year ago got crafted into figurines. The shoulder plates on one of them I fell in love with. This is similar to what it looks like.

The color, in my opinion, with my skin tone would contrast quite well as I am fairly pale. The lions head on the other hand is not my thing, and I'm thinking of going either a cross, or the tree of life to put in its place. I've been browsing for weeks for a good image of both a cross and a tree of life that I like. I've yet to find one. This image is similar to wha I'd want in place of the lions head in the first image.

I want whatever i put there to be circular, like this tree. If anyone has an idea of how I could put a cross in a tree like that, that looks great, I could really use some help. I want to place a symbol of my faith, primarily a cross, were the lions head is, but yet I want my tree of life too.

I'm would go one less layer of plating if I ultimately go through with this. Obviously for job reasons, I'd want my tattoo to be invisible with even a shirt sleeve t shirt, though I often wear long sleeve clothing here in Florida lol.

Any opinions are welcome. If any of you have tattoos of religious influence, please, post some pics so we can all see!

Any opinions welcome? It all depends on what your belief is, I know people who use symbols combined with the chapter and verse page numbers, one guy even used the number from a author Klaus P. Fischer book , the page number is about all the people selected for extermination and cleansing and because he falls into one f the groups of people hated by Hitler & the Nazi regime, he had the number under a religious symbol so as an idea you can combine two ideas to make one, always space for innovation

It is not regular practice for American Indians to have ink, only a few tribes use the tattooing methods along with a varied tribal members who use ink as a form of modern symbolism and since Indian are the originator's of tattooing I figure why use laser to cover up the work I originally had which was two pueblo symbols also used by the Mescalero Apache, Hopi and Navajo and pretty much used by every American Indian tribe, you see the problem I was having is that since the rise of and fall of the 1930s to 40s fascist political regime everyone assumed it to be a political like minded symbol even though they it were combined with the right and left facing which the fascists would never us and previously it was only known as a religious symbol, anyhow I had two pythons head about to attack rising out of their natural habitat, got a big thing about snake, very symbolic in the Southern Athabaskan Indians, what I do like in particular about South East Indians of Asia in countries like Borneo, Cambodia, Malaysia and the Philippines is the pre Latin religious incorporations of the snakes, I wonder hominy people realize that the only reason the Latina and Latinos have this identity is because the Spanish conquistadors brought the Latin church to Indian shores, anyhow work in progress
