I like both, but I think coffee wins by a bit. Green tea is nice, I have at least one cup a day, but I dislike orange pekoe tea. I tried several teas in China which I very much liked, but I cannot remember the names of the teas.

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! (Me in the Kenyan Masai village, every morning.)

After Kenya, I cut down on coffee, realizing how addicted I had become, actually requiring it to become a normal being.

Which one? And what flavour?
Neither. As a Mormon, both are against my religion. I've tasted both of them, though, and I've gotta say that staying away from them is not hard for me! :)

Why is this?

Why are they forbidden, you mean? Or why don't I like them?

Back in 1837 or 1838 (I forget which), our founder, Joseph Smith, was given what we believe to have been a revelation from God concerning how we are to care for our bodies. We call it "the Word of Wisdom" because the first verse contains that phrase. It prohibites tea, coffee, tobacco and alchohol and stresses a diet high in whole grains, fruits and vegetables. We are not vegetarians, so we do eat meat, fish and poultry, but are encouraged to do so in moderation. It's a health code that has paid off, since statistically, Mormons are among the healthiest people in the United States with life-expectancies several years above the national average.

Why don't I like tea or coffee? I guess maybe it's an aquired taste. I can't imagine that very many people liked them the first time they tasted them. I've only tasted each of them a couple of times in my life and that was plenty. I know most people love them, but I honestly don't like them at all. Maybe that's what they mean when they say, "There's no accounting for taste!" :D

I love them both and which I have depends on my mood and what else I am doing or eating at the time. Earl Grey is my fave hot tea, has been since I was about 12. And being from the south I've grown up drinking sweetened iced tea, with or without mint. My hot tea though I prefer without sugar, especially if it's an herbal or green tea and maybe a little honey if it's a strong tea. Coffee, I love just a good ole strong cup, but I'll try a flavored coffee too (I had some chocolate velvet today). My coffee must be sweet and creamy, I can't drink it black. Iced coffee is awesome too.

I love tea, and I'll drink almost anything from India, but for some reason, most other teas taste gross to me. But even so, I'm more of a coffee girl. I love drinking mocha-cappucino most, but if it's not mocha, I'd rather have it black.

If I drink either, it's tea. Earl grey, hot. Just kidding. I'll drink just about any tea put in front of me. But I don't drink it so often.

Decaf tea and coffee (vanilla hazelnut). Caffeine messes with my blood sugar levels so it's usually decaf, but for a rare treat...Earl Grey tea.

Coffee. I like alot of Mochas, cappacinos, and just about anything else Starbucks serves.

I've never "gotten" Starbucks. I tried their coffee a few times and think it's horrible, although my son loves it.

Tea...Earl Grey, HOT, and I'm not kidding. No sugar, sometimes a little cream or milk.

Iced tea needs to be sweet, but not nearly as sweet as my wife likes it. :D Just plain, no lemon or any other flavors in it.

I like the smell of coffee, but not the taste, except in a mixed iced coffee drink. If I drink hot coffee, it's got more sugar and cream in it than hot chocolate.

Neither, but I suppose that's no surprise to anyone who knows much about LDS (see Katzpur's post).;)

Actually, I drink a little herbal tea, but there wasn't an option for "herbal only."

Gee, I wonder who the other "neither" vote is, eh, Katzpur?

I'm confused :bonk: how can tea be anything but herbal. And how can herbal tea not be tea (since you voted no for tea)
