Teaching a faith in Iran vs Australia

This is not only a problem in Iran, in my European home town the mayor has recently been asked to look into the better protection of Muslims who have become Christian. Apparently there are regular threats from their Muslim relatives and other Muslims.
However we regard our respective faiths or philosophies, for most of us in the West, freedom of religion is non-negotiable. Any attempt to coerce people to join a religion or preventing them leaving is repugnant.

Almost like a Druse, from what I hear.
There’s similarities.

There are no lists of Baha’is in Iran for administration purposes as the Iranian authorities in the past have secured such lists for the purposes of targeting Baha’is. Many official documents such as passports and entry to university require a declaration of religion. Unlike Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians the Baha’i Faith is not a recognised religion in Iran and it’s members are not afforded the same rights as these other religions.

Cool, at least most of the potential "door knockers" have the decency to honour your wishes. The rest deserve a door-slam.
Oh it's happened, or just a silent point to the sign. Of course census takers, neighbours, that sort of thing is different. I highly recommend one. Too bad there wasn't something to tell the leaves not to fall in the eavestrough.
