Teen Arrested for Planning ISIS Attack in NYC

Which way to the woods?
Why should I care about any of that anyway? Does this news that I bring cause you anxiety for some reason? If so, why?

...I'm not the one making the comparisons. I'm just spreading facts.

Anytime anyone tries to murder masses amount of my fellow citizens, It does cause anxiety. For most people anyway. But the annoying part of it all is when only one side of America's terrorist problem is trotted out by some posters who ignore the home grown terrorists because they are not Islamic.

This is hilarious considering you used a source that arbitrarily cuts out the largest terrorist attack in US history. Who is ignoring what now?

Sorry, what do you mean cutting off the date?

The stats cuts off on 9/12 ergo does not include the largest terrorist attack in US history, 9/11, which was /drum roll Islamic and resulted in 3k deaths. Fewer people were killed at Pearl Harbour. Also ISIS based or claimed (and proven) attacks are consider international terrorism even if done in the US due to organization association. Ergo some attacks in the US are not considered domestic terrorism by law due to communication with foreign parties.

That's funny. How many people have died from white, 20 somethings domestic terrorists in the last 4 years? And how many have been killed by immigrants in the same period?

Exactly.

More have been killed by black domestic terrorist a.k.a gang members in the last year than white ones in 20 years. But hey you were the one that wanted to get racial.

Do note the cut off date. This is called hedging one's bet or omission.
Their numbers don't work if the date range is expanded.
Also, notice the quick whataboutism to deflect from the OP,
ie, they need to make white supremacists the sole object
of scorn & fear.
News for all: Danger comes from many groups.
Picking the biggest danger could be uncomfortable.

We're only allowed to talk about, to remain politically correct, white supremacist killings.

All others seem forbidden.

And how many of "them" have we killed in retaliation? How many refugees amd more terrorists have we created around the world by getting payback for 911? And thanks for the explanation. I didn't cut the date off, I just c&pd from wiki which is my least favorite resource for information but I'm not going to sift through hundreds of biased web pages from both sides of the topic.

I don't do racial. And certainly don't want to. I was just pointing out that using the word Islamic terrorist, when the last 4 years have been notable for white American terrorists which rarely are called that by Islamaphobes, is biased. So I wasn't the one suggesting racial bias.

It is part of an agenda as many have zero issue bring up WW2 and Nazi's using those stats to bolster a point.
People post news articles about violence regularly.
But let it be one where the perp is other than a white
guy, & the whataboutists flock to make it about Trump
& white supremacists.

You mean war or revenge attacks conducted by citizens?

How many refugees amd more terrorists have we created around the world by getting payback for 911?

Unknown. However the US isn't making people convert to radical Islam. They do that freely.

Sorry I didn't mean to suggest you cut it off. The organization publishing the stat cut it off. This happens a lot with many organizations as they rely upon politics, agenda and ignorance. ADL for example will tap dance around with stats. ADL has been caught doing it for years. Yet people cite ADL due to ignorance and confirmation bias thus are clueless.

My original post was comparing the last 4 years.

Which is hedging a bet via omission. Besides like I said some terrorist acts are consider foreign terrorism due to links with foreign organizations thus not domestic. Domestic does not merely mean done in the US but association links. 9/11 isn't domestic terrorism. Pulse Night club was. The difference was there was no evidence the latter was in contact with a foreign party. Even though the guy ranted about US strike on Muslims and Muslim lands before his attack.

How about we condemn both and acknowledge that we should both vet people coming into this country and also put more effective measures in place to prevent white supremacist terror?

No one said that. You're just posting random, irrelevant stuff. So an attack was foiled? Great. What is there to say? And your thread about the guy being murdered had no source and little info. Couldn't even tell what he was killed over. No reason to post it.

You know this goes both ways right? Some posters here only bring up WS terrorism
