Saudi-Arabia is treating an entire gender like criminals. That disgusting nation deserves as much respect as Nazi Germany
Going out on a limb here......
While I have some differences with their government & religion,
I say the Saudis are way better than Hitler.

This should be required reading in schools.....

Boo hoo hoo....Israel is upset for getting deservedly spanked by the UN.
For once, the US wasn't its lap dog.

I've noticed that the conservative apologists for Israel in the U.S. (mainly) can be just as delusional and irrationally biased as the far-left apologists for the Muslim world. It's very interesting to contrast these two types of apologists and see how similar their rhetoric is.

You know, I don't think I have ever been told in clear terms why the Arab States are so darned beligerant against Israel.

What exactly motivated the invasion back in... was it 1947?
With all due respect, I fear that your confusion lies in trying to tie this to 1947. There was substantial violence against Jews before 1947, even before the Chevron massacre of 1929. There has been violence against Jews in that land for hundreds of years. Explain that and maybe you can start understanding more recent violence against Israel.

This response doesn't seem related to my post.
So I'll clarify my position....

Israel is top dog in that region.
They've killed a great many people taking land from them.
They have tremendous US support, & try to manipulate us into doing their bidding.
They should do more for peace.

I don't care about any of your loopy religions over there.
The result I want is that y'all stop warring with each other.
Find a solution...ya ignant greedy porkless savages!

My comment was about how so many conservatives are willing to criticize Arab countries while so readily supporting Israel despite its crimes, much like how a lot of apologists for Israel's enemies tend to do when they fully support Arab countries against Israel.

I don't disagree with your points; I think they're very relevant.

In what sense illegally? That a non-binding UN resolution used erroneous language?

It is worth studying the precise facts and language of the relevant documents before throwing around words like "illegal."

Obama administration was hypocritical on UN's Israeli settlements vote (Opinion) - CNN.com

The article seems to me to be a large cry because the U.S. didn't support Israel in that instance, as if the U.S. were obligated to do so. I don't disagree that Obama is a hypocrite, but that has no bearing on the validity of his stance in this case.

I think the U.S. and other powerful countries should have stopped supporting Israel a long time ago, going back to at least the crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza War in 2008.

Pre-Israel, and in particular pre-New Yishuv, violence against Jews in the Middle East was not substantially different to violence against and between other religious communities there, as far as I am aware. This is not to say it is not something that one would want to get away from. In the 20th Century genuine antisemitism has emerged on a massive scale in the region, due to a combination of European influence, hatred of Israel and theological justifications.

The article lays out legal and historical facts which should be used to define the discussion in place of the loose language bandied about. That Obama's stance is hypocritical based on what he, himself has said and ignores long standing US policy not on "protecting Israel" but on the status of land and the position of the UN in making anything which circumvents actual face-to-face negotiations.

Because of their hate towards the Zionist scum.

Which is why they displaced all Jews regardless of their political opinions from Eastern Jerusalem and the so called West Bank.
And this is perfectly fine and should be encouraged.

It was only natural to destroy all Synagogues, use the Western Wall as a dump and destroy the Jewish cemeteries to use their tombstones for roads and military toilets.
Because they only have a problem with the Zionist scum and not Jews. In fact they love Jews!

Perhaps you should briefly define "Zionest scum and Jew". Please?

Illegally? No, it's not the end of the world, but it's still an encroachment on the rights of many people.

Jerusalem is part of Israel. All the time people whine about Israel not just annexing the West Bank. Well Israel did that with Jerusalem and people still whine.

And anyone who spends a few minutes on how the situation from 48-67 in the divided Jerusalem was has to be absolutely insane to want that back.

> vote in a Terrorist organisation
> renew your war against Israel
> send thousands of rockets to Israel
> Israel shoots back
> whine about Israel shooting back
> everyone whines about Israel shooting back

Yeah it's totally not weird that Israel has more UN Resolutions against it than North Korea, a huge prison with working camps and regular executions of people who speak out against the Government.

My Imam told me that Jews lived happy and in peace as Dhimmis under Sharia law. Why would he lie?

Please stop spreading your Zionist lies.

Zionist scum defines the Jews you kill or force out of their homes.
Jew defines the Jews you don't kill or force out of their homes.

Apparently there were only Zionist scum in Eastern Jerusalem and the West Bank because everyone was killed or forced out of their homes.

FINALLY! A SOLUTION AND IT MAKES SENSE!
They should all sit down over a breakfast of sausage 'n eggs and
settle this over some good coffee!
This would be:
civilized
sensible
demonstrate willingness
might make for some good dirty barqua jokes
arabs might LIKE bacon
Jews might LIKE arabs
they'd learn the only difference between them is a ham.
They worship the SAME God just call that God by a different name.
It would save a ton of money wasted on ammo

I'll agree that Israel isn't as bad as N Korea.
But a difference is that N Korea's evil is more confined within its own borders.
That would explain the number of UN resolutions.

One cannot excuse wrongdoing by pointing at someone else, & crying....
"But those guys are worse than we are!"

The first step is to convert'm all to atheism.
Then we'll achieve peace over bacon & cheese omelettes.
