Terry Pratchett's Discworld Series

Feathers in Hair

World's Tallest Hobbit
*huggles "Reaper Man* Truly love that one! Especially when Death is going to get the diamond

"Chap with a whip got as far as the big sharp spikes last week," said the low priest.
It took me three reads to get the Indiana Jones reference! And then I loved when they screamed in fear "Mrs. Cake!"

My most beloved line, which was also my signature for awhile, was when Death was appealling to Azrael.

WHAT CAN THE HARVEST HOPE FOR, IF NOT FOR THE CARE OF THE REAPER MAN?

Makes me cry every time.

Oh, yes! I recalled it! Next to Grims (Squeaker & Death) comes Cohen the Barbarian..

I love Death! I THINK MAKING HIM TALK THIS WAY was a piece of genius ... But all I can say is Nanny Ogg!

And the Hedgehog song!

When I read the illustrated Discworld (forget the official title) I was suprised when I read that, in Terry Pratchett's opinion, Nanny is the most powerful of the witches, and part of that power is in her not letting the others catch on.

And I like her mastery of the 'single entender', as I think they call it.
