There were a lot of people I enjoyed discussing things with and for the most part I'll look back fondly in regard to my experience here. However, it is readily apparent I am too much of an anomaly here. Since I tend to just irritate people here, I think these forums shall be better served by my absence. Adios!

Since it seems I am one of the irritating ones, perhaps RF will become a bit more to everyone else's liking.

I made 400+ posts and got 3 frubals. One of them is from a person who would take it back if they could. One of them was a post I thought was a bit rude on my part. One of them was from the only person who was kind and friendly to me and they too have decided to leave here.

When I saw my somewhat rude post getting a frubal, I realized the culture here is soaking in too much and that perhaps I should be grateful I didn't get any more frubals.

I definitely do not belong here.

I don't think you need to save you posts at all...until they purge them to make room. For the near
future, you can always return & easily look at all your posts & threads under your STATISTICS tab.

Go to thread tools at the top of the first page of the thread. you can either click "show printable version" then save the page, or click "email page" and have it emailed to you.

Keep in mind, you have to do this for every page in that thread.

Frubals don't really matter. I feel like I make some good posts too but I don't get any. Does that make me want to leave for good? No... You can gain a lot of knowledge here. Just because you think differently, it doesn't mean you are not wanted. It's good to have diversity. I am sure we would have learned something from you as well. It's too bad you are leaving...

jbug: if all the annoying posters left, then there would hardly be an RF! If you feel you have something to say, then say it. Of course some may disagree with your views, but the point is that you are free to state your view and defend it regardless.

Forums full of like minded people are mind-numbing. Diversity of opinion is one of the things that makes RF mentally stimulating.

In other words, yes Jbug, I have personally found some of your posts irritating.
And they made me research even further the writings and lives of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young. Or any topic related to the post.
Thank you for that.
Pop in when you want, and if you feel the desire to post, do so. You may find your presence affects others in ways you may not of thought of.
