Some species are starting to adapt. They've worked out ways to kill and eat the toads whilst steering clear of the poison sacs. Pretty amazing!!

Not enough to control their numbers, sadly.

Science is working on it but a concerted effort on the ground by many people and with funding from the Govt is needed, and actually should have happened a long time ago. Money comes before the environment for Governments a lot of the time however.
What a good way to give people work and clean up our environment at the same time, a permanent army of environment warriors paid by the Government.
