Every Jewish rabbi teaches that all the 613 commandments can be grouped into one of two categories: loving God and loving neighbor. Jesus was not being original here.
Interesting. Was this also in the second temple era?

Do rabbis also teach that some commandments are more important than others? And that heart of a man is more important than what is seen from the outside?

Satan represents all that is evil.
Not at all. Satan represents the adversary. The presumption that an adversary is evil is simple egotism.

But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, [and] he fought against them.
Isaiah 63:10

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.

I'm sure it goes all the way back to the origin of the Torah.

We know that some commandments are more important because the penalties are more severe. Some commandments have no penalty at all. But all the commandments are binding.
