Compared to the pre-sanctions/no fly zone Iraq Saddam's teeth had been pulled.
After the invasion things were horribly worse.

Not the point I was making. In no way am I defending any of the actions "the coalition" took.

OTOH, it's a gross mis-characterization to imply that life in Iraq was anything but horrific in the period before we invaded.
