The age when life has the most meaning

we have five senses
each one in it's way delivers this reality into the mind and heart

life has one purpose
to generate a unique spirit on each occasion of a human

we are here to learn as much as we can before we die

and heaven will then decide if I have become someone who understands
the meaning of life

you know what I mean?

My sense of meaning is still going up at age 74. I have times when I revisit something I read or watched earlier and realize that I missed how meaningful that is.

And being retired I have time for meaningful volunteer work which also is part of the picture.

Being 60, I will say I find this pretty accurate: I am much more satisfied with my life and my spirituality than I was much earlier...I don't feel I have THE answers, but I have MY answers...

Sounds reasonable.

Before that, we are often just too busy dealing with various needs and demands that really have very little to do with spirituality.

WOW.....I wish I was 60 again....
Hell.....I'll take 70 or 80 again.
And I'm still dealing with various needs and crap !!!!
This morning I replaced irrigation around a tree,
and it was 80 in the sun, good tree !

I don't think age has much to do with it (aside from the self-awareness that comes later in the teen years).
More than anything else it is the comprehension of self, time, world and the abyss of death that all culminate into a true appreciation of the meaning of things. It's not something handed by others or by age.
