The Apocalypse

allfoak

Alchemist
We are in the 6th mass extinction and this one has the potential to reduce humanity to numbers not seen since man emigrated out of the African Savannah. If you want to call that an apocalypse that's fine. But don't call it "The Apocalypse" as in the Catholic Bible becase it is not driven by any God force. It is purely of natural and man-made causes.
There have been many physicists who have discovered God within the scientific method.

Perfect! Please give us your very best example, documenting:

I think these are many things that have come true:

first, knowing this, that during the last days scoffers will come walking according to their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue this way from the beginning of creation.
2 Pet. 3:3-4
But know this, that in the last days grievous times will be upon us . For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, braggarts, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural feeling, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, haters of good, betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2 Tim. 3:1-4
And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.
Matt. 24:12

Also that Jews were scattered and now are gathered back, is to me a good sign.

And I will scatter you among nations, and shall draw out the sword after you, and your land shall become a waste, and your cities shall be a desolation.
Lev. 26:33
And it shall be when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you among all the nations where Jehovah your God shall drive you, you shall bring back to your heart these things ; and shall turn back to Jehovah your God and listen to His voice, according to all that I am commanding you day, you and your sons with all your heart, and with all your soul; then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity, and He will have pity on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations where Jehovah your God has scattered you. If you are cast out to the end of the heavens, Jehovah your God shall gather you from there, and He shall take you from there.
Deu. 30:1-4

I'm sure you have, but claiming "there are many things coming true that were foretold a long time ago" and then quoting Matt 24:12 is laughable.

Let me repeat the request (with emphasis added):

Perfect! Please give us your very best example, documenting:
  • what was said,
  • and when.
Thanks.

I'll understand if you simply respond "no, thank you."

Parenthetically, from Wikipedia ...

Most scholars view the gospel of Matthew as a work of the second generation of Christians, for whom the defining event was the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple by the Romans in AD 70 in the course of the First Jewish–Roman War (AD 66–73). From this point on, what had begun with Jesus of Nazareth as a Jewish messianic movement became an increasingly gentile phenomenon evolving in time into a separate religion. They hold that the author wrote for a community of Greek-speaking Jewish Christians located probably in Syria. Antioch, the largest city in Roman Syria and the third largest city in the empire, is often proposed.

And Udo Schnelle offers ...

Matthews presupposes the destruction of the temple (cf. Matt. 22.7; 21.41; 23.38). The terminus ad quem is provided by the knowledge of the Gospel by Ignatius (around 110 CE). The Gospel of Matthew was therefore probably written around 90 CE.

Penning something like Matt 24:12, in the diaspora (Schnelle suggests Syria), and roughly two decades after the War, is hardly prophesy, It's creative etiology

Why?

I don't believe it was written or told two decades after the war. But, I also don't think it was about that time. It seems to me that it is only now coming true.

And in addition to the previous, it seems to me also that world is really close to the one world government that will force everyone to have "mark of the beast". However, I understand that for you it is not meaningful. You don't have to believe me.

You would be right to say that armageddon is not far away..
What is to be, is to be. :(
I believe it is never far away. Things can happen very fast. One day Syria was domestically peaceful and the next in civil war. That doesn't mean it will be this year. My guess is that it happens near the end and I put that as 2044 although I have been wrong about dates before.

I believe we have some signs being fulfilled leading up to the end but who knows how long the signs have to precede the end? What do you think is big. I believe Covid-19 was big but unrelated although pestilence has been used by God often enough to say it means something.

I believe one could say we have had a one world government through the United Nations for many years now.
