On a spiritual level there are no borders between religions.

This video shows it well.

I firmly believe in this and I do not understand how people can miss on such huge similarities between faiths. That should be enough to stop religious war and discriminations.

Lets discuss about this. I am curious about what you people think.

I can't watch videos right now. I would say there are many similarities and many differences. Often the most intense fighting occurs between members of similar faiths.

I like to think that perhaps we all believe in the same God, But give him different names and worship him differently. I like to think that God touches all our lives, And some mistake him for another diety, likely the one they were raised with.

It doesn't mean it's true, But I like to think it possible.

It might be best to at least sort out the conflicts between "Protestants vs. Catholics" within Christians; or "Shia vs.Sunni" within Islam; or "Judaism vs. Islam" in regions like like Palestine; or "Jews vs. Muslims" in Syria, Iran, etc., or "Hindus vs. Muslims" over a useless piece of dirt called Kashmir betwixt India and Pakistan...geez, the list goes on...

As an atheist, I earnestly have no dog in this fight for supremacy, But if you can manage a message of peace and love between them all, you then have my attention and support :)

I agree. We humans, all have the same fears and worries since the dawn of times. We are just born and raised in environments that makes us think differently. We all worship the same God, which I believe is to be found "inside" each and everyone of us.

I really cannot understand how this conflicts still stands in this day and age given the massive similarities between the religions. I mean Judaism, Islam and Christianity they all believe in Jesus. Not sure how many Christians know that Muslims believe in Jesus too.

"Beauy of religion"? Jesus likened the religious leaders of his day to "whitewashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of every sort of uncleanness. *In the same way, on the outside you appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." (Matthew 23:27,28) I believe these words apply to most professed "Christian" churches, as well as other religions, whose works belie their claims to love peace and mercy.

When you put it like that it's almost a shame that it doesn't exist. Almost.

mmm...ok they don't think he's the son of God. Muslims don't either. But they both recognize that he was a, allow me that, a "good preacher" at least. no??

Jews think he was just another Rabbi and Muslims just another prophet.

I think god lives inside human's heart. God is one and it exist everywhere. For example god exist on your thoughts, on your karama.

Depends on the Jew. Some think he was simply another wannabe saviour. Of course the publicized rabbis would agree with the religious majority.

I think it's a poetic sentiment not grounded in reality. But if more people thought in the way you do, perhaps there would be less conflict.

We focus too much on the finger pointing at the moon rather than the moon. So many different fingers to choose from, it can be distracting.

Most Jews do not even consider him a legitimate rabbi but rather a false prophet who taught against the Torah.

 I agree on that.

I believe that on a spiritual level religion does not or should not even exist.

..yeah I think I know what you mean..and it's pretty much my point..when we pray we appeal to our most honest part of ourselves and we do it through God. But there is no religion there. Just our conciousness staring straight back at uss.
