Namaskāra. Welcome to the bhakti thread. This is a place, one place among many, to express your bhāva toward your cherished deity or deities. You might express it through thoughts, poetry, prayers, images, or whatever is best at the moment. It doesn’t matter who you call Bhagavatī or Bhagavān in this thread. The only requirement is to express devotion.

Oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ.

:cherryblossom::cherryblossom::cherryblossom::heartpulse::heartpulse:

Bhagavan, you are anantaguṇa, and you are anantaśakti. You have brahmatva, and you have īśatva. You originate the universe, you sustain the universe, you withdraw the universe, you conceal the universe, and you give all beings your grace. I am yours, Śiva, I am yours. I belong to you. Give me your grace that I may merge in you, the boundless and unoriginated ocean of bliss that is Paramātman. Give all of us your grace that we may attain this supreme happiness.

There is a point in my daily atmartha puja, (dressing of the deities) where no Sanskrit slokas are chanted, so I do bhajan as you would do free dance. I close my mind to a structure, and just let it flow, perhaps like singing in the shower, or car. It helps that there is no audience. They might just get up and leave.

I do bhajans in the same manner. I just let the Sanskrit flow.

Jai Mata Di!
In honor of Vasant Panchami...

"Bhadra Kalyai namo nityam
Saraswatyai namo namah
Veda vedanga vedanta
Vidhya stanebhya eva cha"

(I salute you daily as Bhadrakali, as well as salute you as Saraswati, as you are the home of the Vedas, branches of the Vedas, philosophy, and knowledge.)

If my spelling or translation is wrong, I copied it from another website, so it was not intentional!

Deities, dearest friends from my theist days, so what that now I am an atheist. True friendships continue irrespective of that.
