Scripture proving that, would be helpful. Don’t you think? And denied by Jesus. How do you interpret that?
OTOH, Matthew 5:17 says otherwise.

Luke 11 38-39Scripture proving that, would be helpful. Don’t you think?
OTOH, Matthew 5:17 says otherwise.
Luke 11 38-39
Luke 11:38 But the Pharisee was astonished to see that Jesus did not first wash before the meal.
And it is not surprising that Jesus contradicts himself. Contradictions in the Bible are so common it is no surprise when one runs into one of them.
So you misinterpret the Bible when it suits your needs.Check the Torah all you want, there is no Law on washing your hands before eating. Those were man-made traditions (Matthew 15:2) the Pharisees followed, and which Jesus denounced. - Mark 7:1-4; Matthew 15:9.
So what you thought was a contradiction, was an assumption on your part... you were in error.
No, I’ll leave misinterpretation up to you.So you misinterpret the Bible when it suits your needs.
nope that was your sin. I never brought up law, you did. And you based your failed argument on that. No, I’ll leave misinterpretation up to you.
Grief! Are you really this obtuse? It would be easy to prove me wrong....
All you have to do, is find a Mosaic Law, that is, a law in the Torah (the Pentateuch) that commands, “Wash your hands before you eat a meal”!
And the Babylonian Talmud is extra-Biblical, so not applicable... it was tradition (Matthew 15:2), not Mosaic Law.
nope that was your sin. I never brought up law, you did
And, the Laws on washing and being clean (mentioned some 400 times in the Mosaic Law) were way ahead of their time!
And denied by Jesus.
Wrong again, by posting that verse I showed that Jesus did not follow that "law". Why is that so hard for you to understand? I did not edit it. Jesus ridicules the idea of washing in those verses. You forgot? Here's the context:
What was "denied" by Jesus, then? (By posting Luke 11:38-39, you thought you were showing where Jesus broke the Law. You were wrong.)
Even if breaking a law was an issue, that in no way is manifesting denial of the whole Law.
You poor thing....as I explained and proved, it wasn't a law. (I see you never found a law requiring cleaning ones' hands before eating; if you had, I'm sure you would've mentioned it) Jesus wasn't denying any law, only their tradition.Wrong again, by posting that verse I showed that Jesus did not follow that "law". You are guilty of cherry picking. You gladly take the verses that support your claims, but ignore and cannot explain those verses that counter your claim. But then, as I have pointed out many may times, all Christians pick and choose what parts of the Bible to believe and follow that they want to. They may have some weak excuses for not following parts of it, but that is all that they have.
LOL!! Oh please, let's not "poor thing" anyone. It does not matter if it was a "law" or not. Surely your reading comprehension cannot be that bad.You poor thing....as I explained and proved, it wasn't a law. (I see you never found a law requiring cleaning ones' hands before eating; if you had, I'm sure you would've mentioned it) Jesus wasn't denying any law, only their tradition.
You should know this: assertions are baseless -- in fact, are probably lies as yours are -- if there are no facts to back them up.

Huh?It is a bit unseemly to call someone a
especially when you so routinely do
exactly the thing you are speaking of.
thro' the expedient to simply declaring
things to be facts.
Whether you even know you do it , or
don not care, or how it is rationalized,
we would not know. Perhaps you dont

In the event, it is a disturbing practice.
Huh?
But the Bible is far from harmonious:Genesis 1 reveals that God is the Creator of the vast physical universe, including the sun, moon, stars, and the planet we live on.
The verses that follow explain the steps God took to prepare our earthly home, while bringing into existence all the wonders of our natural world - including plants producing food.
The greatest of God’s earthly creations was man. Made in the image of God, he was able to reflect God’s own personal qualities, such as his love and wisdom.
God made a mate for man and thus like the animals, they were able to reproduce offspring, according to their kind.
God's original purpose, was to keep man alive on earth forever.
Genesis 2, misrepresented by some, as a second creation account, is an actual history of the one creation account.
Genesis 3 describes the fall of man, when he chose the side of a rebel angel that presented disobedience to as an alternative that would lead to enlightenment and "true" freedom. It was a lie, of course, as man later came to realize.
However, they learned their lesson too late. "Dont bite the hand that feeds you".
Really Adam had no good reason for turning his back on God. A selfish, self-willed course, is not a good reason.
It is in Genesis 3:15, that God made his first prophecy, and promise, known to us.
This prophecy binds the collection of scrolls / books together, into one, as it is God's guaranteed promise to bring his original purpose for mankind, and the earth, to realization, and establish / vindicate his universal sovereignty.
Hence, this theme is the thread that runs right through the pages of the Bible, from the start (Genesis) to finish (Revelation).
The Bible - 66 books - is harmonious, though written by about 40 differnt writers, over more than a dozen centuries.
I see this as evidence of the Bible having one author. The author would be divine, for a number of reasons.
1. The writers wrote facts not yet known by modern man at the time.
2. They wrote of events that would take place long into the future - many of which have indeed come to pass.
3. They wrote practical words of wisdom that are of great value, and timeless. It has been demonstrated that living by Bible standard make for a happier and more meaningful life.
The world is in confusion, the opposite of those living by Bible standards.
You read that, but did you read mine, and show how it is not harmonious? Show how.But the Bible is far from harmonious:

How is it based on faith? Please explain.OK. This what you believe concerning the Bible based on Faith.
Because you just believe it "because you believe it", without any extra-biblical independently verifiable evidence to support it.How is it based on faith? Please explain.
According to Jewish authorities, the Law concerns ritual washing and is found in Exodus 30:17-21.Check the Torah all you want, there is no Law on washing your hands before eating.
