The Big Bang and Evolution

Your rhetoric only shows your inability to post any evidence in any of your links. Thanks.
EVIDENCE

You wouldn't recognise or acknowledge evidence if you were slapped round the head with it.
People, including me, have been supplying it for ages on this thread and the many others you infest; not one piece of evidence has made you go, "Oh, wait a minute, Ken Ham might be wrong" so I no longer waste my time with posting it. Especially since you don't open links.

I also notice that you are ignoring the posts about science inventing technology.

What I understand is that you have not cut and pasted anything. That is all I need to know. You need to blow smoke to try and hide you ability to cut and past evidence.

This is my last post on this subject until you are willing to do a simple task.

Fair enough. "Cut and Paste, Cut and Paste" is the new mantra. Glad to see it is your last post on the subject, we may get some intelligent discussion on here instead of you trolling everyone.

You might like this:

"You stare into your high definition plasma screen monitor, type into your cordless keyboard then hit enter, which causes your computer to convert all that visual data into a binary signal that's processed by millions of precise circuits.

"This is then converted to a frequency modulated signal to reach your wireless router where it is then converted to light waves and sent along a large fiber optics cable to be processed by a super computer on a mass server.

"This sends that bit you typed to a satellite orbiting the earth that was put there through the greatest feats of engineering and science, all so it could go back through a similar pathway to make it all the way here to my computer monitor 15,000 miles away from you just so you could say, "Science is all a bunch of man made hogwash."- anon.
Really!!

The question isn't 'if humans evolved from apes, why are there still apes?' The real question is: with all the information available on the internet, why are there still idiots?

Sorry about that. In another forum I am in, they have a different format to show quotes: >>quote<<. I have been it for over 20 years and sometimes I use it instead of the one in this forum. Then I forget to edit my post. I assure you it is not intentional.
I'm trying something out from another forum as well ;)

It's been done multiple times-- he ignores every single example.

Due to cognitive dissonance, it is possible his brain make him temporarily blind, and he literally cannot see them-- but the behavior is he ignores such posts.

Renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson urges Americans to become more scientifically literate in a short video he posted yesterday (April 19) on his Facebook page.

In the video he titled "Science in America," Tyson comments on 21st-century attitudes toward science, explaining the importance of the scientific method and making the case that science denial could erode democracy.

"Dear Facebook Universe," he wrote. "I offer this four-minute video on 'Science in America' containing what may be the most important words I have ever spoken. As always, but especially these days, keep looking up." [2017 March for Science: What You Need to Know]
Tyson, who is the director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City, the author of several books and a star of TV and radio, has been speaking for years against the troubling decline of basic science knowledge in America.

The video begins with a reminder that the United States rose up from a "backwoods country," as Tyson calls it, to "one of the greatest nations the world has ever known," thanks to science. It was the United States that put humans on the moon and whose big thinkers created the personal computer and the internet.

"We pioneered industries," Tyson said. "Science is a fundamental part of the country that we are."

But in the 21st century, a disturbing trend took hold: "People have lost the ability to judge what is true and what is not," he said.

In a voice full of passion, Tyson said, "This is science," as images flash across the screen showing the world's great scientists from Albert Einstein to Jane Goodall, and scientific accomplishments, from ultrasound images of a fetus and robotic surgery to animations of solar flares and pictures of a swirling hurricane.

"It's not something to say 'I choose not to believe E = mc^2.' You don't have that option."

Tyson points to scientific issues that have become highly controversial: vaccinations, human-caused climate change, genetically modified foods, even evolution. One clip shows Vice President Mike Pence, then a congressman, saying, "Let us demand that educators around America teach evolution not as fact, but as theory." (Evolution is a scientific fact; so much so that the evidence supporting its occurrence is undeniable, according to the National Academy of Sciences.)

Tyson suggests that those who understand science the least are the people who are rising to power and denying it the loudest.

"That is a recipe for the complete dismantling of our informed democracy," he said.

In about 30 seconds, Tyson explains how hypothesis and experimentation, fundamental ingredients of the scientific method, lead to emergent truths. "The scientific method does it better than anything else we have ever done as human beings," he said.

Emergent scientific truths are true whether or not a person believes them, he said. "And the sooner you understand that, the faster we can get on with the political conversations about how to solve the problems that face us."

Every minute a person is in denial only delays the political solution, he said. Tyson wants voters and citizens to learn what science is and how it works to make more informed decisions.

"It's in our hands," he said.

Tyson can go off on tangents sometimes, but his points are excellent.

If you've never seen his rant on 'god of the gaps' thinking, it's well worth it! It's on YouTube titled "The Perimeter of Ignorance".

This is my last post on this subject until you are willing to do a simple task.

I can take over for you if you'd like a break. I pretty much know what you'd post. Let me take a shot:

"Nobody will take me up on my simple challenge and cut-and-paste any evidence for evolution. You're all afraid. You know that you can't. If you could, you'd run to do it. I know I would"

Then, when somebody does it, ignore the post and continue taunting the thread for not having the courage to answer your challenge.

If they call you on it by pointing out that you simply ignored the evidence, say that you didn't answer because it was all opinion, not evidence - without specifically referring to any of it (one doesn't actually have to look at the cut-and-paste to do that).

How am I doing? Need a break?

It's been done twice since I've begun posting on this thread. Two different posters brought him material and he didn't even answer them. I called him on it and provided links to the two instances.

[1] The Big Bang and Evolution

[2] The Big Bang and Evolution

He then said that there was no evidence there, just opinion. There is no indication that he even looked at it.

Then he returns to daring the thread to produce evidence:

Omega: "I tell the evos to cut and paste the evidence their links offer. Can you believe not one has accepted my challenge. Would you like to be the first. You can be the evo hero, if you can post any evidence I can't refute."

It's an endless cycle.

He needs to be put outside on the street and permanently locked out of his house without his computer and lessee how long he lasts. I'm not even playin'. I declare WAR on anyone who does this!
Just remember, forums provides a protection for these goons not found in real world situations. In the real world, these are the guys who are never saying anything and who quickly leave when addressed by 'relevant commentary'.

It is a cycle because no one is willing to accept my challenge. That in itself is very telling---they would if they could but the can't. If it was a difficult thing to do, I could understand their reluctance, but it something most in this forum forum do every day. In fact they have to cut and past their link reference.

I think some have gone back to their link and discovered what was presented as evidence, is not evidence and they know it will be shown as just an opinion.
