Meggie, do you like camping? Myself and Turk like camping and neither of us have gone for ages. There are nice camp areas at some of the lakes around here. Perhaps sometime we could all go camping together?

Some people become diabetic in their adult life out of nowhere. Body changes happen as you age. That's just fact. Also, diet and sleep aren't the only factors that can mess with your system levels. Your stress levels, your exercise level, and so on. It may just be a change in your life that you have to learn to handle. See what the doctor says, yes, but in the mean time, if you know when and how often you have these attacks, then try carrying the tablets on you and take one or two BEFORE you would normally feel bad. You may be able to regulate it like this. This would also be handier for the work situation. While you can always grab an apple or some other snack at home on the weekends, by carrying the tablets in your purse you always have something at work to help.
I'm hoping it's just stress - haven't had a holiday from work in almost a year. It will be over a year by the time I actually get to take some time off, cause I've got to wait for the store manager to get back from her holiday (she hadn't had time off in 2 years :faint: ). That, and I have to save a little money in order to do what I want to do - go to another town for a few days (I'll be taking 3 weeks off though), and pampering myself stupid at a day spa. :D

Sounds like you need it. It could very well be stress then. Either way, just be sure to take care of yourself, and I hope you try some of the things I've mentioned if you haven't already. It could help until you get the rest you need and are able to decompress.

Thanks, I will see if I can find some of those glucose tablets. Seems like an easier way to go at work. I've been ordered to drink some fruit juice before work, too, since I don't like to eat that early (4.30am). That should help me out until I get to eat breakfast, at least.

I love it!

Well, more honestly, I love the idea of it. I haven't ever officially camped, but everything about it sounds wonderful! If you guys are okay with the idea of a newbie, I would really enjoy it!
