. . . But they are the chosen. Which is kind of the point of this thread. There are actually two priestly ornaments worn betwixt the breast, i.e., in the bosom, and two priesthoods chosen by God. Each priesthood is associated with their own ornament of glory, their own bosom-borne Jew-el-ry.

One of the ornaments, the chosen חשן, is shrouded in mystery even to those whose high priest wore it. The other hangs naked and obvious for all the world to see to the ends of the earth.

I get the chosen part.....
a collection of people who believe in a God
having no Name and moves like the wind

If I were God.....I would have chosen such people for that Personal Introduction

but Moses wasn't chosen
at the age of 80.....HE chose to climb that mountain
to meet his Maker

Moses had no intention of return
he climbed that mountain......to die

it didn't work out that way

but as Moses made way to deliver the Law
he turned to ask......for the people would want to know
Whose law is this?

say to them....I AM!
and they with understanding.......will know Whose Law this is

I get it

but since then.....the Law has been made known to all
including the Gentiles

the days of territory are fading
