It's impossible to prove something to somebody who simply refuses to see the blindingly obvious because they have their head firmly in the deep sand of blind faith.

There are endless errors and contradictions in the bible, you were recently pointed to the date of Jesus' birth regarding the census in Luke (who even contradicts himself), see >here<. You just ignored it.

People who rely on blind faith will always find some way to ignore what isn't consistent with it, no matter how obvious it is to everybody else.

All reasoning for evolution and billions of years is circular reasoning and not science.
This is it in a nutshell.
We know evolution and billions of years are true (conclusion is the assumption) and since we know evolution and billions of years are true (conclusion is the assumption) and such and such exists, it must have evolved because we know evolution and billions of years are true (restating the assumption as the conclusion).
Furthermore, any evidence that contradicts evolution and billions of years must be false because we know evolution and billions of years are true. (using the assumption as the proof)
Furthermore, they have no real rational answer to the origin of anything. But they know it must have happened because it must have happened by evolution because they know that evolution and billions of years are true. And they are absolutely sure that the answers will one day be found because they know that evolution and billions of years are true.
Some will even use all debate 101 techniques to keep from answering the questions because they have no real rational answers to the origin of anything. These techniques will include posting links to their “irrefutable” sources, denouncing any 6-day recent creation source as not a real source, even calling them liars. They will also say any evidence presented is a forgery, fake of fraud. All their sources are infallible fact checkers, and the only place where peer review takes place.

Some will even try to belittle you as ignorant, not scientific, a grade school education, evil, even accuse you as a hater. I had one say that 2-1 does not equal 1 but infinity. Some will even claim that you never answer their questions, are lying, and are falsely accusing them. Of course, it is always a joy to suffer for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I wouldn't belittle anybody but it's clear there is a serious lack of education on the matter that a bit of study into the sciences wouldn't solve.

It's actually something one can see for themselves once you understand and can apply the techniques first hand.
