~ The Clinton Victory Thread ~

Monk Of Reason

Lets be real. 90% of votes don't matter. Red states are Red. blue states are blue. Its up to Florida and Ohio. So lets look and see which one is ahead in those two states. Looks like currently its HIllary by about an average of 6 points in Florida. Currently she is beating Trump by less than half a point (margin of error range now) In Ohio.

Some other important swing states.
North Carolina Hillary by a .5 point average lead
New Hampshire- Clinton by 7.5
Wisconsin+ Clinton 4.5
Michigan_ Hillary 5 points
Nevada- Clinton 1.5
Colorado- Clinton +8

I won't go into any of the other swing states as their delegate count is too low. But as it appears (even by a small margin in some states) it is a landslide victory for Clinton. But the race is still young and anything is possible.

That's a moot point for two reason; 1) things such as same-sex marriage and abortion aren't going to be attacked by Hillary, and 2) Trump did pick as his running mate a Right-winged Conservative lunatic who does stand on the side who wants to overturn Obergefell v Hodges and did sign "gay Jim Crow" into law.
I agree about the being moot part.

I think Trump will win.
I don't believe that is true. Here is why.
Trump has only just started his campaign for the White House. Before this he's been running for the nomination.
Now, he is up against three extremely powerful opponents. Hillary and her coterie, the DNC, AND the RNC.

He has too many powerful enemies within the GOP to effectively battle the Clinton campaign.

It's not like he's going into a brawl with one arm tied behind his back. It's like he's going into a brawl with his buddies looking for a way to kick his butt.

Nevertheless, I can't help but notice that you and a hardcore Muslim that doesn't believe sperm cells are alive are supporting the same candidate.

This just shows how Trump is all about diversity!
As Reagan was the "Great Communicator", &
Bill Clinton was the "Great Forni......".....uh....
Donald might become known as the "Great Unifier".

I was a Bernie supporter and I'm also in the "Never Trump" camp, that said, Clinton is failing miserably at winning my vote.
Politics is the art of the possible and requires compromise. While I am in sympathy with you and what we both would prefer to be electing Sanders, that is not the way it is. Time to face reality and, at least, vote against Trump.

Hillary is not entitled to my vote, or anybodies. The burden is on her to earn it. If Trump wins the White House the fault will be her's.

However, if you vote for someone else and Trump wins you are stuck with the outcome as much as anybody else.

If you want a different political landscape you have to commit to that goal and start working on it now.

Saying "I didn't vote for him" won't change the outcome if Trump nominates Roy Moore for SCOTUS, or nukes France.

Then Hillary has a lot of work to do then.

Got it. The "Vote for Hillary because shes winning and because shes not Trump" reason.
That is not what I said.
What I said was that if you want to influence the USA political landscape, staying home and complaining about it is well known for being ineffective.
DWS had people like you pegged.

Where and when did I say I was staying home?

Staying home and voting third party are all in the category:
"Whoever wins".

By "staying home " I wasn't referring to voting day only.
Are you going to invest in changing the political landscape between now and the election in 2018?
Or are you going to stay home and hope that someone else does it for you?
