I suppose I could but I am trying to take a break from starting any new threads, with all that is going on in this country I live in.
Brian2 is a Trinitarian, a member of the Anglican Church as I recall..
The Bible’s viewpoint? The Bible does not have a viewpoint, people read and interpret the Bible and have different viewpoints, and that is why Christianity is divided into so many sects. All are reading the same Bible but there are many different viewpoints. So who has the right viewpoint? Why would your viewpoint be any more correct than Brian's viewpoint or a JW viewpoint? They all read the same Bible.
Okay, will do, when I have time.
You are saying that Baha’u’llah is a false Prophet. Can you prove that? Otherwise it is only a personal opinion, we all have those.
Matthew 24:27 For just as the lightning comes out of the east and shines over to the west, so the presence of the Son of man will be.
That is exactly how Baha’u’llah came, and I can prove it, but not on this thread.
But Imo you misinterpreted what Jesus said. Jesus warned of false prophets because He knew there would be many false prophets, as there have been.
However, that does not mean that there would never be any true prophets. Clearly, Muhammad was a true Prophet (Messenger of God) as were the Bab and Baha’u’llah.
Logically speaking, if there were not going to be any more true prophets
after Jesus, Jesus would not have said we would know a true prophet by His fruits:
Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Fruits: the pleasant or successful result of work or actions:
FRUIT | meaning in the Cambridge English Dictionary
I would never ask anyone to ignore the words of Jesus. However, everyone has a different interpretation of what those words mean. Christians do not even attribute the same meaning to His Words.
Okay, I will try to get over there.
