The corona and end time plagues

And yet I see many who had no real other choice. Steal or starve. Burglarize or go homeless. There is a reason poverty and crime walk hand-in-hand. Where you find one, the other usually isn't too far behind, and drug abuse is also typically present. Some are just desperate to fit in somewhere in a world that has left them behind.
I do not see it that way and neither does the justice system because justice is based upon human free will.
Many people live in poverty. Please explain why all people in poverty do not use drugs or become criminals.

The answer to poverty and drug abuse is to address those societal problems.

Anyway, I know how this will go, and I don't want to go there again,
Neither do I. ;) I just have one question....

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

How does a disembodied Holy Spirit teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance?

Baha'u'llah did all of that as well as everything else Jesus promised that the Comforter would do.

Although I use the scripture to answer question, rather than use my ideas to project as scripture, as most religious folk do, I will use your method.
How does an embodied human fill 120 people?

I do not understand your question or why you are asking it. o_O

@Trailblazer I should have added. The holy spirit is not a disembodied spirit, as you imagine based on your idea of what spirit is.
What is it then? If it has no body then it must be disembodied.

Please explain How does the Holy Spirit teaches you all things and bring all things to your remembrance? And while you are at it, please explain how the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus and testifies of Jesus.

John 16:12-13 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Referring to Jesus as the Son of Man, Baha’u’llah wrote:

“We testify that when He came into the world, He shed the splendor of His glory upon all created things. Through Him the leper recovered from the leprosy of perversity and ignorance. Through Him, the unchaste and wayward were healed. Through His power, born of Almighty God, the eyes of the blind were opened, and the soul of the sinner sanctified.”

Perhaps another time... another thread.
Okay, so you can disregard my next post too. Maybe another time or another thread. :)

I kind of already know the Christian answer anyway, since me and Brian2 have been friends on many forums for about six years.

I do not see it that way and neither does the justice system
And that is a tragedy, in my opinion, because people generally don't turn to crime unless their situation is dire.
The answer to poverty and drug abuse is to address those societal problems.
A part of that is to not criminalize and forever penalize drastic measures of survival. Don't send them to jail. Send them to get help.
Many people live in poverty. Please explain why all people in poverty do not use drugs or become criminals.
Because not everyone does. But those in poverty are very more likely to engage in criminal activity and drug abuse. This is a fact of history.
Some people have more support in their lives. Some have better access to resources to compensate for what money doesn't get. Newer researcher has been looking into reliance as a genetic/neuro-psychology trait (as in something we are innately born with, such as how some are innately more likely to suffer clinical depression). It's well known having a good and positive social support system can make or break a person. Just as those are social misfits are more likely to find the acceptance they seek by joining gangs.

It is hard to know why people do what they do and it is not my place to judge anyone... I believe only God can judge.

I had no social support and I was a misfit but I joined 12 step groups for support when I needed it but that is probably because of the kind of family I was raised in... Much of what we do is determined by heredity and childhood upbringing.

Yes. An personal anecdotes don't work. Smoking won't kill everyone who does it, but it will kill a lot of them. Just as we know those in poverty are more likely to turn to crime and drug abuse. People who aren't in poverty don't have to steal to meet their needs. They can afford escapes that aren't cheap. And all of history shows us a very strong correlation between poverty and crime, with drug abuse also being a very common associate.

Brian? Christian?
You must remember, I don't believe the term Christian from the view of the world, and the vast majority of religious people today, has any similarity with Christian from the Bible's viewpoint. So Brian's view on that likely is quite different to mine.
Don't ask my view on this thread though. If you are interested, I have a thread here, where you can question me on that, if you like.

By the way Trailblazer, I thought you knew, I don't accept anything from Bahaullah since he fits the words of Jesus.
(Matthew 24:11) . . .Many false prophets will arise and mislead many. . .
(Mark 13:6) .Many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and will mislead many.
(Matthew 24:24-27) 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will perform great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Look! I have forewarned you. 26 Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For just as the lightning comes out of the east and shines over to the west, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

Surely you are not asking me to ignore Jesus' words, are you? Or is that what you are asking of us all? :)
(John 5:39-44) 39 “You are searching the Scriptures because you think that you will have everlasting life by means of them; and these are the very ones that bear witness about me. 40 And yet you do not want to come to me so that you may have life. 41 I do not accept glory from men, 42 but I well know that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in the name of my Father, but you do not receive me. If someone else came in his own name, you would receive that one. 44 How can you believe, when you are accepting glory from one another and you are not seeking the glory that is from the only God?
Anyway, I don't feel good that I have said this much off topic from the thread, so consider meeting me in the thread I linked if you want to continue this. The title is appropriate - A Close Look At Truth ;)

The idea that those verses are referring to the League of Nations and the UN. That basically does mean WWI and WWII were slated to happen.
...and?
If you could look ahead and predict that Mr. Trump wins the elections, would you alter the result, say by making sure some of his supporters didn't make it to the booths?
God has the power to alter any foreseen event, but why should he cheat after allowing his rival a fair chance?
Would you cheat your rival just so you could win... unfairly?

Brian2 is a Trinitarian, a member of the Anglican Church as I recall..

The Bible’s viewpoint? The Bible does not have a viewpoint, people read and interpret the Bible and have different viewpoints, and that is why Christianity is divided into so many sects. All are reading the same Bible but there are many different viewpoints. So who has the right viewpoint? Why would your viewpoint be any more correct than Brian's viewpoint or a JW viewpoint? They all read the same Bible.

You are saying that Baha’u’llah is a false Prophet. Can you prove that? Otherwise it is only a personal opinion, we all have those.

Matthew 24:27 For just as the lightning comes out of the east and shines over to the west, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

That is exactly how Baha’u’llah came, and I can prove it, but not on this thread.

But Imo you misinterpreted what Jesus said. Jesus warned of false prophets because He knew there would be many false prophets, as there have been. However, that does not mean that there would never be any true prophets. Clearly, Muhammad was a true Prophet (Messenger of God) as were the Bab and Baha’u’llah.

Logically speaking, if there were not going to be any more true prophets after Jesus, Jesus would not have said we would know a true prophet by His fruits:

Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

That means god arranged for these terrible wars to happen.

If millions of lives and preventing such suffering were at stake, yes. I wouldn't hesitate to cheat and take every advantage I can, fair or unfair.
Oh. I see. So you would basically say you will be fair, but not keep your word, yet people are to take your word that you are fair, and honest.
I don't think so.

...and the bit about Christian, can I quote you in this thread A Close Look at Truth?
