In your opinion. Would this situation have a better chance of working itself out if the western powers, primarily the USA stayed out of it?

Question Everything
No. Events in one corner of the globe have a ripple effect that touches us all, reminding us of the need to stand together, regardless of our location or identity, for the well-being of humanity.

Spill response - contain, clean up, and mitigate hazardous substances quickly at the source to minimize damage and protect.

Tough call.
I don't know.
Things could be even worse than they are now,
eg, Israel carrying out its threat of nuclear war.
I hate nuclear war.

Living in Israel would have long ago evolved into a living hell in the absence of Iron Dome and some check on Iran and Hezbollah. The threat of a Judenfrei Middle East was and is very real.

A number of Americans have been kidnapped by Hamas so the USA has to be involved.

As @Jayhawker Soule has pointed out, this has gone beyond a "western powers" issue. I suppose if there was a way of keeping everbody out, the people might stand a chance. I have been thinking about this for so long but not come up with anything.

Scott Ritter was on point with his commentary on the conflict in Ukraine and it looks like the same applies with his commentary on the current conflict in the Middle East.

I'd say that....
- Palestine has lost.
- Israel is winning the battle.
- Hamas is winning the war.

BBC puts the Palestinian death toll today at 10,000.
The Israel / Hamas kill ratio is now 7 to 1.
About half of Israel's murders are infants & children.

I believe if USA worked for peace between Palestin and Israel instead of wars ,that's change the tragedy reality we see now.
I think the lobby of wars who control USA.
The reputation of West concerning human rights and democraty is destroyed by supporting/silence about genocide happining in Gaza.
the real face of Western goverments shown.

Arguably, you don't know much history.
Maybe read a bit, you might learn something.

Of course not.
The western powers including the USA
(though not necessarily “primarily”), have been intertwined from the start.

One could easily argue that they strongly contributed to the origins of the conflict that has been ongoing for generations.

The mistake that many make is that they have little understanding of the events that have led the situation to this point.
A hint: this ain’t nothin’ new.

The world is far to intertwined and interdependent to not be involved at this point.

No one’s winning anything. There’s no upside to any of this, for anyone.

Either stay out of it or stop supporting a racist, genocidal state that is committing a ton of war crimes and violating international law all over the place. I'm sick of my taxpayer money paying for innocent people to be massacred by racist religious lunatics on the other side of the world. If their god is really on their side, let him prop them up in their murdering and land stealing.
