the definitive disproof of the free will excuse

Godnotgod, amen and indeed!
As autonomous beings, we make our own purposes which no God has the right to make! Paul that sophist to the contrary, we are not His clay to do with as He wishes.
No God has the right to be totalitarian!
You, therefore, know what advanced theologians could never fathom1 And they have the temerity to call us fundamentalist atheists! What superciliousness!
You, know therefore that any God would only have that one-way street of having to put us animals in a much better place!

Thanks, but I choose the sweet Middle Way of the Buddha:

"Think neither God, nor not-God":D

This is true liberation from all positions of contention which require a defense, which then turns to offense, and ultimately, misunderstanding and conflict.

Thank you very much.

Thou art That
As autonomous beings, we make our own purposes which no God has the right to make!

Our 'autonomy' should only come in handy as a means of realizing our interconnectedness with the universe. The sustenance provided by the universe to all living things is never forced or dominant.

No God has the right to be totalitarian!
Excepting the Abrahamic version. That's because He is God, you know.:D
In fact, not only is He a Totalitarian beyond all reproach, He is a mass murderer and a racist as well! To wit:

13And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
14But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
15Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
16But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

Deuteronomy

On top of that, He is schizoid! He gets drunk and goes on a murderous rampage, slaughtering tens of thousands, then goes and sleeps it off, and the very next day, is as sweet and gentle as a lamb, having clean forgotten the horrific bloodletting that went on the night before!

You, therefore, know what advanced theologians could never fathom1
Their fatal flaw was their first move to prove the existence of God. A proven God is a dead God.

And they have the temerity to call us fundamentalist atheists! What superciliousness!
Our no-God is the only not-One, not-True not-God?:D

You, know therefore that any God would only have that one-way street of having to put us animals in a much better place!
THE FLESH: LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT! However, the clever little Christian has figured out a way to take it with him! Rot and all!:D

godnotgood, that is what I think. Faith doth that to people! We must as Roy Jackson in ' The God of Philosophy" get the supernaturalists to proffer evidence for that contra-causal free will and Heaven. How can we have free choice without determinants if we are left at random forces? What outside any scriptures gives evidence for Heaven and Hell?
Yes to that liberation of mind!
We naturalists find it so inconsistent not to have free willl and a guarnantee not to do wrong here as there as He 'd know the outcome of the tests beforehand, and contrary to one apologist, ti's not for His greater glory what counts, but what morallly is best for us animals! Free chocie there would be amongst the good, better and the best as Burton Porter notes could happen here even if there were some evils.
Supernaturalists just use the boomerang on themselves with the noition of Heave as paradise but as Porter notes, just a better world requires itself!
And Alvin Plantinga, ever the sophist, self-congratulates for keel hauling the logical problem from evil by proclaiming that it is possible that He has the unknown defense argument. No, that argument is one from ignorance! And it blasphemes morality and - humanity! Morality would be topsy-turvy were that the case as why might we not let someone murder another if that is His will? This is an reductio ad absurdum!
godnotgood, what is your further take on this grave problem for the supernaturalists? Other viewers, just what is your take on any of this?

Some blather that we would be equal to God had we free will and a guarantee not to do wrong. Hardly.
Why then couldn't we be as the archangels, the angels and the cherubim with that guarantee?
Yea, Yahweh should've told them to partake of that tree in order to know right from wrong were He intelligent and-moral! And to partake of that one of immortality! What a goofus! Or rather the misanthropes who made up that fable with no redeeming features and no metaphorical moral!
Happy Mithra Day and Winter Solstice!
